Jasmine Restoration

A small pile of dumped green waste was left beside the road years ago.
Hidden within it was jasmine. Over time, it escaped into the surrounding native bush and has slowly begun smothering everything in its path. Despite reporting it, nothing has been done.
So I'm doing something about it.
Project 001 is the first Guardian project.
The goal is simple: remove the invasive jasmine, restore the native bush, and prove that one person taking action can make a real difference.
If you'd like to help fund this project, every contribution goes directly towards the equipment, disposal, and restoration needed to get the job done.

What is project Guardian
Every movement starts with one person deciding to do something.
My name is Brando Yelavich. Over the past decade I've explored some of the world's wildest places, spoken to thousands of young people, and spent my life encouraging others to reconnect with nature.
Along the way, I've realised something.
Most people genuinely want to make a difference, they just don't know where to start.
Project Guardian was born to change that.
It began with a simple belief my dad taught me as a kid: Leave everything a little better than you found it. Those words have guided almost every decision I've made. They shaped the way I explored the world, the way I raise my children, and the way I see our responsibility to each other and to the places we call home.
Today, Project Guardian is just me, getting my hands dirty. The vision is to build an organisation that changes the way communities solve problems by creating meaningful employment around doing good. Instead of relying solely on volunteers or waiting for someone else to act, I want to create real jobs that empower people to restore ecosystems, educate communities, respond to local challenges, and leave every place a little better than they found it.
I believe doing good shouldn't have to compete with earning a living. My goal is to build an organisation where making a positive difference in the world is not only possible... it's a profession.
